1) Vaudeville Noir Acts....
The event is Sept. 24 -1910 Encinal Ave, Alameda

"Bi-Polar Novelty Acts" would ideally incorporate an element of the
Shadow Side. The acts would be very short, so hopefully we could bring
on as many as thirty acts of 30 seconds to four minutes. Acts would
hopefully all involve humor even if the absurd kind

They might contain a smidgeon of angst, a cringing banality, or a dark
duality. Duets of comedy, music etc would be especially welcome to
emphasize the polarity aspect of the night and of our bookBut even the
most plain vanilla acts with a tiny twist become weird, so I am not
asking for anything from Ripley's Believe it Or not.
The theme might be more like "The Disturbing Underbelly of the
Mundane." All the acts do not have to contain humor. It's probably good to
just stick in a song, a one-minute lecture, a saxophone or trained mouse act
every ten minutes or so. Relief form comedy or cringing.

*Acts could be anything*-- Anything as long as it's amateur or willing
to be paid only by tips....----a medium who channels people with Terets
Syndrome, a Macabre mime, a pet medium, PUPPETS or Marionettes a MUST!,
Amateur Ventriloquism a must! , psychotic poetry, someone who's
invented a new artform, good clown-bad clown duo, playing the jaw harp
through a tracheotomy hole, someone who believes they are Alistair
Crowley or Andy Warhol reincarnated, a performance art activist, a
prognosticator who focuses on career changes only......
