Other attractions include drawings and door prizes, young collectors’ activities, a live auction both days, and complimentary tours of the building, given three times daily.
The Old U.S. Mint in San Francisco once housed over one-third of the nation’s gold reserves, and is one of only five buildings in San Francisco designated a National Historic Landmark.
Show hours are 10am-6pm Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday. Admission is $5, which is valid for both days. Coupons for discounted admission are available online. Children under 12 are free. Attendees holding a valid coin club card will receive the discounted admission rate automatically.
