I'm pretty certain that we have been living in
Clown World for a long time - probably decades -
and it's only our perception of the whole
production that's changed.
Biden is certainly execrable. But just because he
looks worse than Drumpf in various photo and video
footage sniffing hair, feeling minors up and other
disgusting acts of public depravity, doesn't mean
that the other guy isn't also a sleazeball. It
should be okay to recognize that the system serves
us exactly the kind of power-seeking creatures
that should be kept far from the levers of power.
But we're so conditioned to pick a side that we
end up rooting for that old "lesser of two evils,"
which of course is still invariably something
vile.
We should be able to call out someone for
associating with Epstein and making the judge that
gave Epstein his "sweetheart deal" (Alex Acosta,
for those playing at home) his Secretary of Labor
- just as we call out Creepy Joe - without being
attacked for being a hater. The system isn't
broken - it was just never meant to work for
regular people like us who would never feel
entitled to grab someone by the p&ssy or
traumatize their daughter for life with
inappropriate (or worse) showers.

I know, and I read and appreciated the entire
piece. I also listen to your podcast and know
where you stand on Trumpenstein. My comment
wasn’t directed at you, but rather to remind
those caught up in the political theater that all
of the actors are just that; they may be good and
they may be (in fact they probably are) bad, but
they are all actors in a production that is only
put on to serve them and distract us from their
perfidy.
