Helloooo Burners!
Happy new year!!! We hope you had a wondrous and recuperative holiday season. But now that we're rolling into 2026, it's time to get the gears warmed up for all the festivities we've got ahead of us.
South Bay Burners January Meet & Greet
Thursday, January 15, 6-9pm at Chapter 11 in San Jose
Need to decompress from the holidays? Join South Bay Burners on Thursday, January 15, from 6-9pm at Chapter 11 in San Jose to kick off the new year in style!
We’re trying a new location this month at Ch11, a brewery that serves mead and cider! While they do not serve food, right next door is Hapa’s and they’ll have a food truck out front (should be pizza truck for this date), or make sure you plan your food needs accordingly. Art projects and camps are starting to get their wheels turning for UnSCruz and BRC 2026, so come on thru to reconnect!

Santa Cruz Burners Regional Event: UnScruz, Absurdia
April 30 through May 3, 2026 at San Benito Fairgrounds
Our friends over at Santa Cruz Burners are returning for their 14th annual Burning Man regional event: UnSCruz! This year's theme is Absurdia. For those that haven't participated before, unSCruz is a four-day, three-night campout celebrating art, fire, music, and community incorporating the 10 Principles of Burning Man. You'll encounter theme camps, art, and a community in need of your participation! Just like that thing in the desert.
Tickets go on sale February 8th, 2026 - you can find more information on ticket sales at their website.
Burning Man / Black Rock City 2026 Ticket Sales
It may feel like you're still recovering from BRC 2025, but ticket sales for this year begin with their first tranche in just a few weeks. The Burning Man Project will begin ticket sales through the Sunrise Sale on February 4, 2026 at noon. Registration opens January 26 at noon and runs through February 3 at noon.
Ticket prices are tiered and limited, beginning at $675 up to $3,000, with vehicle passes at $165. While this is the first sale, Burning Man will still administer additional tickets through the Stewards Sale (tickets for camps) in March, and the Main Sale in April. Additional tickets can also be awarded through the Ticket Aid program (low income program), Resilience Program (participants impacted by natural disaster and geopolitical conflict), and resales can be scooped up through STEP as usual beginning in March.
Please see the official Burning Man website for more details for registering and applying for the different ticket sales.
And that's all for now, folks! See you around! 🔥
