"Someone needs to protect these senior citizens from being kicked out of
their home," says Country Joe. "The idea of just chopping down trees to build
things is an idea that no longer makes any sense. This is a space well-used by
creatures and people for years and years, not too mention that the whole
Memorial Stadium was probably built to honor World War veterans. The way to honor
them is to leave it alone."
If for some reason you can't attend, please consider purchasing and donating
your ticket. We will get your ticket to a low-income person, and you will
still have the satisfaction of sustaining this irreplaceable oak grove.
