Matt Gonzalez @ Abundance League 6/28, 6pm
This month we meet Thursday, June 28th at 6:00pm.
In addition to regular member announcements, Matt Gonzalez will be
visiting us to learn how people feel about current city government.
Let's think about the questions below as a place to start what should
be a fairly casual discussion:
- What are the 3 best things the city has done in the last 4 years?
- What are the 3 worst things?
- What do you want for our city?
- How can we make it more abundant?
Matt was Supervisor for SF District 5 (The Haight) and President of
the Board of Supervisors from 2000 through 2004. Many might remember
his run for Mayor in 2003 where he got 47% of the vote. He's thinking
about doing again, to win, this year. Wanna help him decide?
And as always, please come prepared to tell us about your passions,
discuss your needs, and share your gifts so that we can help each other build
the lives we want to live.
We hope to see you there. Abundantly yours,
Neal White Arrow & Maritza

This is a Bi-Monthly event where a collection of dancers and fire/glowstix spinners come together in a dance studio setting to practice their moves. A year ago they added a live DJ to play while they danced. It has now evolved into Spin Jam. I was asked to guest DJ'd there last night and I had such a good time I wanted to share it with others. It's free but they ask for a $5 donation or anything one can give for use of the space. Normally about 20-30 people show up. Chill crowd, great vibe, constant dancing. All ages. 8PM-12AM every other Thursday.

Really Really Free Market Saturday, June 30 Noon-Dusk Dolores Park
A Really Really Free Market is like a potluck for whatever you want to give or take away. Have you ever brought one dish to a potluck and gone away with a full belly and a balanced meal? Everybody brings something and goes away with more.
We all have skills, ideas, objects, smiles, talents, friendship, excitement, discussions, and many other things to share. If we bring them all together at the Really Really Free Market, we can provide more balanced and full lives for everyone. As a community we have many more resources than we do as individuals. If we share our resources we won't need to buy as many new ones. This uses fewer of the Earth's resources, and fewer of our working hours, leaving us more time to devote to ourselves and our communities. Would we all work forty hours a week at one job if we didn't feel we had to? What if instead we worked at improving our individual skills and talents and shared them with each other? We would all spend more time doing things we enjoyed. The Really Really Free Market is an attempt to put these ideas into practice for four hours every month and then spread the seeds everywhere - share, share, share.
Please help us keep the Really Really Free Market a 100% FREE and non-commercial event. Once a month, let's come together and forget about trading, bartering and money. Leave the business cards at home and remember the joy of giving for the sake of giving. Help us keep Art SF clean. If no one takes what you brought, please bring it home with you.

10:00 PM Saturday, June 30th Opulent Temple presents ‘Audible from Space’
This party theme matches the range of our playa sound system this year, as we gather again to raise needed funds to help raise 2 brand new ambitious projects from the loco boyz and girls of the Opulent Temple. We’re leaving the house music to our friends at the Deep End that night, for this we’re going to hit it harder than usual with more in your face progressive, techno, trance and even some psy to close the night in the main. Upstairs will be kick your booty break beats.
Thanks for your wonderful support so far, we promise you will see the tangible results on the playa. (And our line up this year at BM? It’s already full, has something for everyone, and will probably never be topped, not even by us....)
