In cold, I stay until my body shivers.
3 cycles of Hot Cold. I cycle 5-10 minute dips.
Ok to Start with 5 minute plunges on your 1st visit. 10 is advanced. 10 is HardCore. HYDRATE

I write in detail, because Harbin is the most healing experience I have ever felt in my mechanically injured, L5,S spinally interrupted body.

          VITAL
3 cycles of Hot Cold plunge, well hydrated, on empty stomach flush my capillaries well by repeated contraction and expansion.
This is not medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Anecdotally, I can only say I have never felt so healthy, flushed, vital, exuberant, energized, and alive, as I have felt after a session of three cycles in Harbin’s hot/ cold plunges.
After a girlfriend gifted me this experience in 1994,
I faithfully returned twice a year. Every chance I could get after every EarthDance.org September + harmonyfestival.com July and every other excuse, I could possibly make up to visit northern California and return via Harbin Monday, Tuesday Wednesday after each festival.
Debriefing and healing, catching up with scores of other festival goers wise to the ways of nature. Rates were, and are cheaper M T W.

To drink of mother Earth, constantly between all plunges pools, showers, kitchens, dining, hiking, yoga, camping sleeping
Is the most divine experience of Nirvana
I have ever had in my life

Before this day I had never known how good hydration felt.
Up to 2015 Fire A Cold pipe poured directly from Earth into cold plunge.
To drink mother earth’s nectar while in cold plunge was simply Heaven.
Today best drink is middle temp spring fountain at warm pool 20 feet away. 3 springs!

I vowed to make my life better by taking home, 5 gallon jugs of spring water from mile marker, 26 on Highway 29 CA findaspring.org
Between Middleton and Calistoga CA
In the best attempt I could make to bring what I could of my Harbin bliss
Back to my default, world, suburban living
I would twice a year bring 65 gallon water jugs to fill

          Water is life
This may be the most vital gift I can share the humans

The were two pools. 1 cool temp pool and one medium? Warmer Temp pool / large Jacuzzi style? Or at least had jets
since the Paradise fire era 2015 2016 and later fire seasons, one of those years took out Harbin.
to live there even for a day or weekend and just drink that springwater and soak up the water it’s so divine
Harbin has a strict silence policy in warm pool, hot plunge and cold plunge and generally quiet everywhere else it is truly health centered safe space for women as privacy and solitude are respected
I have not been since the fires, but they have rebuilt much of it and are entertaining guests.
Highly recommended
