Black Rock Rangers Cruiser Bike
Burningman Rangers

Police officers carry guns and bulletproof vest belonging to 1 of 3agencies, BLM Washoe sheriff, Pershing sheriff. They are camped far out on 7 o’clock past Z.
Mostly nobody goes there unless they’re in handcuffs. So you don’t wanna go there?

Black rock rangers are friendly, don’t have guns or bulletproof vests. They wear khaki clothing and khaki hats. The smile are happy and have a fun sense of humor and a sharp wet. They congregate at 5:45 and Esplanade 3 o’clock Plaza 9 o’clock Plaza and can also always be found.
24 seven at the
Man and at the
Temple

Get a used cruiser for $50~$60. Just make sure the seat is as wide and as comfy as possible. The playa can get bumpy. FB CL NextDoor MktPlc.
WHY?
Ply dust will destroy your bike in 1-5 years depending on if or how well you take care of it,
5-10 years if you: unpack post burn turn your bike upside down use a garden hose to blast the Playa dirt mud out of your chain and gears as you backpedal with your hand.
Let bike sit in sun for one or more days to dry chain. Then
Oil chain with remaining drops of empty bottle of motor oil from your car. Use tiny eyedropper oil bottle to dribble beads of oil down your brake and shifter cables into all of their sheaths. Oil drops on hinge points of derailleurs brakes etc.
This
Makes sense, whereas spending $$$ dollars on a new bike is a risky proposition with Corrosive alkali Playa dust
Burningman, bike, bicycle, Playa BRC

The cheapest beach cruiser you can find. Ideally single speed (less moving parts -> less things that will break)

[Edit: it's fine to have a geared bike. Many do, and it's fine. Better without; but not bad either way. Just make sure it's not a bike you love dearly]

Mountain Bikes are great also. Older better<$
2024 must have cruiser or Mountain Bike with WIDE HANDLE BARS as
2024 playa has the biggest potholes and deepest ruts ever in 34 years since 1990
