of you are interested in healthier eating, animal rights, protection
of the environment, sustainable agriculture, or the politics of
government and big agribusiness. AND I KNOW YOU ALL LOVE FREE FOOD
SAMPLES!!! Did he say free samples?! Where?! I gotta get me some of
that! I'm going to that veggie thing in the park!
Once you've grabbed lots of FREE SAMPLES, enjoy TWO INTERNATIONALLY
RENOWNED, COMPELLING, INSPIRING SPEAKERS: JOHN ROBBINS AND HOWARD
LYMAN, along with many others.
John Robbins is the only son of the founder of the Baskin-Robbins ice
cream empire, and was groomed to follow in his father's footsteps, but
chose to walk away from Baskin-Robbins and the immense wealth it
represented to pursue his dream of a healthier society. He is
considered to be one of the most eloquent and powerful spokespersons
in the world for a sane, ethical and sustainable future. The
widespread media attention he has received has included numerous
appearances on national shows including Oprah, Donahue and Geraldo.
When John spoke at the United Nations, he received a standing ovation.

Howard Lyman (the Mad Cowboy) was sued alongside Oprah Winfrey after
appearing on her show, because he spoke out against the modern
practice of feeding cattle to other cattle. Howard's life story is
captivating. He was a fourth generation rancher in Montana, educated
in modern chemical agriculture. He turned a small, organic family
farm into a large corporate chemical farm with over five thousand head
of cattle in a factory feedlot and thousands of acres of crops. In
1979, a spinal tumor nearly left him paralyzed, leading him to
reevaluate his farming practices and his lifestyle. He has since
become one of the leading advocates for small family farms and has
been at the forefront of educating the public about the true dangers
of Mad Cow Disease. If you read FAST FOOD NATION, you'll love his
book MAD COWBOY. For more info on Howard, visit

Please pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested in
attending. Last year we had 2000 in attendance, and we're shooting
for 3000 this year. And yes, all well-played vegetarian jokes will be
met with good humor and witty retort :)
Thanks for your support.
