Save your DATA
Rx compose notes writings or articles on your own device s immune to data loss.
Rx do not compose writings on Substack NextDoor FaceBook etc as all 3 are known to Lose and wipe data pre Post.
FB and ND often censor or delete posts anyway.
Don’t lose Hours and thoughts.
Boycott FB ND Censorship. Avoid Divorce Delete
iPhone I compose all of my writings in NOTES
Zero loss. Auto saves. Even deleted notes are saved. Whether by accident or intent
Has not happened but good to know
MacBook Pro Text Edit (was Simple Text)
Elegantly simple workhorse is FAST and not even a fraction as clunky heavy dense as
Memory sucking Cooling Fan triggering Microsoft Word. I avoid ALL MicroSoft PC for this awkwardly dense privacy invasive big brother monster code.
Far less crash and data loss on Mac.
As a double safety I email any critical or omnibus documents to myself in the same plain text Mac format. On multiple email addresses.
Mac is so simple and elegant with such clean code you can easily copy and paste, huge essays of 20 30 50? 100? Page length
Back-and-forth between Apple , Mail and Notes in mirror seconds
For this reason, I prefer people send me plain text over PDF or any other format as those are toodense and unnecessarily complicated to copy and paste.
Easily simply searchable by key words on Notes TextEdit and AppleMail
Though AppleMail search is far more robust on MacBook Pro Laptop than on iPhone
As a tripple safety you could have documents on different devices in case of grid down
Internet down or cloud failure @EndOfWorld EMP SHTF
Quadruple Safety is cloud.
I always avoided the cloud though at some point on my new iPhone 14 whilst in notes fudging around, notes were saved to iCloud which I may have triggered shuffling notes
Playing with folders etc I am a novice, but Mac is So intuitive and user friendly Apple allows me to be highly functional as an
AuDHD Dyslexic Asperger’s Autism aka NeuroDivergent
I respect privacy advocates who avoid the cloud.

Substack tells me I can not reply this to Robert Malone MD as is: Substack wrote:
You must set a name before posting
? How do I do that ?

Perhaps unfair of me to say, Substack loses data.
Robert Malone MD today is the only case I’ve heard of.
Whereas I know Facebook before our divorce routinely lost my data
Nextdoor routinely lost my data
A sane person might want to avoid those two platforms like the plague
As they are vast censorship platforms where free speech is not welcome
Yet
I wrote this to create good habits in people
I’ve composed on 12 social networks in 3 decades
Good habits will see you through countless iterations of social networks
I hope to learn to use Substack better, more gracefully, as my learning curve is encountering several hiccups today
I seek forums to learn to use Substack more adeptly |
