Better to use the HARDER clear plastics, ie 1 gal Crystal Geyser Square bottles or
5 gallon alhambra type bottles.
Softer plastics release more toxins: you can taste them.
I use this at the Summit to get water on top, to save my engine ant transmission going uphill, I travel light.
Though there are places in reno you can bring containers to.
In the city: store your water in glass.
Glass 1 gallon apple juice bottles if rinsed well.
Glass 5 gallon water bottles are PRICELESS. (Long term use, and earthquake ready)
Though earthquakes might break glass. 5 gal plastic good earthquake storage too.
Glass and stainless steel are good for storing water. But China Steel may be radioactive.
SF water has Chloramine and Flouride.
Best to get actual spring water, talk to country folk and locals, find a source. Drink well.
Mineral spring water is HIGHLY helpful in balancing your blood pH.
PS: it is the plastic softeners / pthalates / pbde's that cause cancer.
If left in the sun or heat they break down from bottle and mix into water.
and more than one company selling bottled water in compostable cornstarch bottles.
http://www.biotaspringwater.com/bottle
http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/01/canadian_water_1.php
Also: Flouride in drinking water is correlated to aluminum plaques in brain.
I advise: locate a source(s) of mountain spring water and fill up!

The Bay Area Derby Girls need your help
The Derby Girls can't compete where they've been competing any longer
because too many people have been coming to watch and the location doesn't
have the correct permits to support that many people. It seems as if
another location has been secured but the catch is, the Derby Girls will
need to provide their own floor surface. And floors aren't cheap.
Therefore, the B.A.D. Girls are holding a fundraiser this Thursday, May 24th
at DNA to raise money for a sport court. It's a late night adventure
(door open at 9pm, show starts at 11pm). There will be skating by current
team members and great performances such as. Devilettes Paige's Skate Tease
Bottoms Up Burlesque Bombshell Betty The Indra And photos with the Derby

Well, there you go...the same route as last year.
from my Zombie Alert Generator:
http://eatbrains.com has been updated with a map and zombie info. Don't say I didn't warn you!
May 25th, 6pm. No need to dress up, the zombies have plenty of spare blood.
It is extremely important that you read the purple stuff, for the love of all that is still good and pure in this world.
Our zombie containment team has placed special radio transmitters that interfere with zombie?s sense of direction, so that we can funnel them down market to union square where, g_d willing we can neutralize the threat. See map below.
These radio waves also have the following effects on zombies:
Zombies will loose the sense of smell. In fact, the only thing they can sense is Duct tape. If you are wearing duct tape on your torso, the mob will attack you, ruin your clothes, eat your brains.
Zombies will not get blood on innocent bystanders or their things.
Zombies will leave private property reasonably soon after being asked.
Zombies who don?t exhibit these behaviors will be beaten into shape by their fellow horde.
Link to map:
http://eatbrains.com/mob2007/zombiemap2007.jpg
-Market and Sansome, N. corner. 6pm. Don?t all show up here at once, stand along the route.
-Right on Geary.
-Union Square at 6:30 sharp. If you haven?t been attacked yet, you should be.
-We will either successfully neutralize the mob, or it will continue all over town.

Saturday, May 26th 2398 Sir Francis Drake Fairfax-Fairfax-Fairfax Doors 9pm/$15.00 feeds the band & crew!
http://www.thegroovegarden.com The Groove Garden Presents!!!
THE DIDGERIDOO DANCEFLOOR OBLIVION OF GANGA GIRI
Yes…Ganga Giri and band comes to town:
Having all nicely survived a significant car accident while touring a few days ago, the band rolls into Fairfax with a very “alive” spirit to tear up the dancefloor with a meltdown of didge-spirit, corroboree-style vocals, a gallop of percussive pulsations and bass-swayed grooves. Brand new music is gonna levitate the Groove Garden crowd into a froth of total community joy, total community levity.
DJ Dragonfly opens and anchors the floor with samba-twisted, Cuban riffed, afro funked, tabla driven, sitar smoked bumpers n’ grinders that’ll leave you on a wing of freakdom as dancemoves leave your body like an exodus of school kids at recess!
 See yaz on da dancefloor!

"If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is
libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is
a misnomer for the liberals -- if we were back in the days of the Revolution,
so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be
the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government
interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this
is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is."
