Can West Stop US Blitzkrieg of Iran?
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2006/10/19/18321545.php

I submit that anyone who believes that 19 guys who were BAD pilots in Cesnas, led by some dude on a dialysis machine in a cave by cellphone, were able to stand down the US air defense system for 2 hours; is a conspiracy theorist.

And why did World Trade Center 7 fall down at 5:20 PM? It was not hit by any airplane.
It was demolished in perfect professional fashion. http://wtc7.net http://911review.com

U.S. Sends Warships to Iran, Pre-Election Attack Possible ....
According to Debka a suspect ideologic but usually
accurate intelligence website...that the Flotilla Iwo
Jima also has arrived meaning the naval buildup
consists of 3 collections of death machines, now in
place to launch (nuclear)war against Iran...this is
very serious confirmation of imminent attack! regards...Ira

500 Miles to Babylon directed by David Martinez
500 MILES TO BABYLON directed by David Martinez http://www.graffitifilms.com
 Friday October 20th at Station 40 3030B 16th St @ Mission 8pm $5

500 Miles to Babylon is a one-hour documentary film about Iraq under U.S. occupation. Narrated by the filmmaker, using footage shot in Iraq during 2003-4, the film addresses the current war not simply as a conflict over petroleum profits or a scheme to fill a company's coffers, but as part of a larger American imperial project.

Through impromptu interviews, glimpses of daily life, still photographs, and footage of car-bombs, demonstrations, night-time graffiti artists, and the celebrations following Saddam's capture, 500 Miles To Babylon reveals the situation in contemporary Iraq through a cinema verite lens. More than a simple anti-war movie, 500 Miles follows a journal-esque "narrative of disintegration", showing the initial excitement of some sectors of the Iraqi population after the U.S. military toppled Saddam Hussein, their hope eroding as they watched their country sink into chaos and violence in the months that followed.

The film ends with the April 2004 assault on Fallujah, when all of Iraq was rising against the Americans, and includes rare footage from inside besieged Fallujah, where the filmmaker went with a group of journalists and aid workers to deliver medical supplies and move wounded civilians to Baghdad.

Saturday's Stellium

Note that all the planets are in Libra this coming Saturday, except Saturn
which aspects them from a doubly unstable place. There are so many types of
astrologers out there so I will let you come up with your own
interpretation. Vedically it would depend on where this occurs in your
chart, for instance those with Sag rising could have a powerfully rewarding
time, while those with Taurus rising might not. prashanti @ igc.org

This Sunday Bay Area Hula Hoopers will be hooping from 2-5 pm at the
Embarcadero Plaza, specifically in the grassy area just north of
Embaracadero 3 and 4 (Drumm Street between Clay and Washington). It's
just a short walk from the Embaracero BART/Muni Station and there's
food and coffee and other amenities nearby. The Weather Report for
this Sunday is SUNNY in San Francisco with a high of 74 degrees so it
looks like we'll be having another one of our beautiful Indian Summer
days. Come on out and hoop! We'll see you there!

We will not be meeting at Yerba Buena Gardens as previously announced.
While Yerba Buena was indeed a great place to hoop - that was before
we bought the sound system. We haven't been there since because
navigating getting the system there and the inevitable problem with
security for having amplified sound, particularly since we've been
kicked out of far less potentially problematic locations this summer
over this very issue (Sydney Walton Square, Duboce Park...), resulted
in the decision to move the location.

Apologies for the change and confusion - hope that everybody gets this
notice in time and that you can let anyone you've told know as well.

See you at hooping this Sunday! It should be a blast!

AuthenticSF, my umbrella company for the Authentic Man Program (the
Inner Game course) has a regular radio show!

Tune in to 106.9 FreeFM every Sunday, 8-9pm PST, on your radio if
you're in the Bay Area, or listen via the internet at 1069freefm.com.

We're basically taking calls and "circling" people on the air,
coaching them about the challenges and edges that come up for them in
taking their relating to the next level.

We did our first show last Sunday, (right after our "antithesis", Tom
Leykis), and it was great-- we had a few callers, but we want MORE.
Which leads us to how you can help us:

In the first few shows, the 106.9 producers said it's rare to get many
callers, but the more callers we get, the more people will call in.

AND, since working with people is where we get a chance to shine as
coaches, we need your help:

Listen in, and CALL US on the topic we offer up for discussion! For
the purposes of a general audience, if you do get through, try to keep
it community-lingo free, and ideally your challenge can be something
other people can relate to. We'll give you our best.

Mark your calendar for this Sunday, and we look forward to hearing
from you on the air! Stoked, Bryan

P.S. -- AMP (Authentic Man Program) is booked til January, but we're
offering a co-ed 1-day course that will give you a taste of our work--
It's not pickup-related, it's more like an all-day interactive games
and exercises event. It's on pctober 28th, you can check out the
details at: http://www.authenticsf.com/courses_authenticencounters.html

9-11 Press for Truth screening! Thursday, October 26, 7:00 PM

Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center
55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek

Videos for Peace: 9/11: Press for Truth (84 min.)
Guest Speaker: Dr. Paul Rea, author of Still Seeking the Truth About 9/11
"I've been waiting for the Hearts and Minds of the 9/11 movement, and now we have it." -- Dr. Paul Rea, after viewing 9/11: Press for Truth.
Following the attacks of September 11th, a small group of grieving families waged a tenacious battle against those who sought to bury the truth about the event ”including, to their amazement, President Bush. In "9/11: Press for Truth" six of them, including three of the famous 'Jersey Girls', tell for the first time the powerful story of how they took on the greatest powers in Washington—and won!—compelling an investigation, only ty to subsequently watch the 9/11 Commission fail in answering most of their questions. Perhaps the most important one of all: Why, five years later, are so many of the families' questions still unanswered?

Adapting Paul Thompson's Complete 9/11 Timeline
http://www.complete911timeline.org the film stitches together news clips, buried stories and government press conferences, revealing a pattern of official lies, deception and spin. Thompson's narrative presents a different picture of 9/11, one that raises new, more pressing questions.

What actions were taken by top government officials who received dozens of specific warnings before the attack? Was Bin Laden and his top al Qaeda leadership allowed to escape in Afghanistan? What has been the reason for obscuring the evidence regarding the Pakistani connection? These and many more questions have have not yet been fully answered, but the 9/11 Truth Movement
http://911Truth.org is working hard to find credible explanations.

9/11 Press for Truth premieres in Palo Alto with authors- Paul Thompson and Peter Dale Scott

Friday, October 27th 7 pm at Spangenberg Theater
Gunn High School, 780 Arastradero Road. (@ Foothill Expressway) Palo Alto

This film tells the story of the battle between the grieving families and the White House. The families won one battle and forced the Commission into existence, but they were distressed to witness the Commission's failure to address most of the questions posed by the Family Steering Committee. The documentary adapts Paul Thompson's Complete 9/11 Timeline and pieces together news clips, buried stories, and government press conferences to reveal a pattern of lies, deception, and spin. The film raises questions about 9/11 that have led many families to express skepticism about the official story and demand a new investigation. The film will be followed by a discussion with Paul Thompson and Peter Dale Scott, editor of 9/11 and American Empire, both of whom have researched extensively the relationship between the terrorists and the US government.

March on Sat Oct. 28 to Stop the War! SF

*Iraqi Death Toll Now 655,000 Since the Beginning of the War As U.S.
Casualties Exceed 20,000*

   - *Question on the Continuation of the Iraq War Not On Nov. Ballot*
   - *Thousands to Vote With Their Feet on Oct. 28 in San Francisco*

*SATURDAY OCTOBER 28, RALLY, 12 NOON, UN Plaza
**(Market St. between 7th and 8th) MARCH TO FOLLOW*

A report this week from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health estimates,
through its research, that 655,000 Iraqis have died from war related reasons
since the illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003. Meanwhile, the number of U.S.
casualties has exceeded 20,000 for a war based on lies. In every recent poll
taken the people of the U.S. are opposed to the war and occupation, yet this
November there will be no way for that sentiment to be expressed at the
ballot box. The cost of the war is now at $12.5 million an hour with no
level of normalcy in any aspect of Iraqi society. The Bush Administration is
determined to continue this course of death and destruction and Congress is
going right along with him by overwhelmingly voting for a $478 billion
budget Pentagon budget for 2007. Did the people of the U.S. have any say in
this give away to the militarists at the direct expense for badly needed
social programs here at home?

Samwain & the Spiral Dance
Starhawk has asked people to spread the word about this year's wonderful Samhain spiral dance in San Francisco (see announcement below), and the need for volunteers, including to work on the altar to the element of water (something like the awesome cascading fountain that Erik and others built inside the Convergence Center for the Reclaim the Commons mobilization in 2004 would be wonderful!) Samhain is witch's new year and reputed to be when the veil between the seen and unseen worlds is at its thinnest--so an optimal time to invoke spiritual help in the quest for peace, justice, ecology, and democracy! This amazing event is also the Reclaiming group's annual fundraiser.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 7PM 909 - 12th Street, Sacramento

In an engaging multimedia presentation, Dr. Michael Greger traces the human role in the evolution of this virus. In the face of the coming pandemic, Dr. Greger reveals what we can do to protect our families and what human society to can do to reduce the likelihood of such potential catastrophes in the future.
