Quotation of the Week
"By the time we got to Woodstock, we were half a million strong and
everywhere was song and celebration. And I dreamed I saw the bombers riding shotgun in
the sky, turning into butterflies above our nation." - Joni Mitchell

Book of the Week
Butterfly Norie Huddle's book "Butterfly" is now recognized as one of the
major models for global transformation. When Deepak Chopra's Alliance for New
Humanity held the Power of Oneness Conference in Puerto Rico in December, 2005,
Chopra used the imaginal cell concept from her book in their promo. It was
also used by Barbara Marx Hubbard as the theme to "Conscious Evolution" and by
Elisabeth Sahtouris in her work. Ordering details below.

Enter the golden glow of twilight in Charles Dickens’ London Town – a city
filled with lively and colorful characters from both literature and history.
Enticing aromas of roasted chestnuts and hearty foods fill the air. Cries of
street vendors hawking their wares ring out above the bustling crowd. One hundred
lamp lit shops are filled to overflowing with Christmas presents.

The Great Dickens Christmas Fair offers a sampling of the finest in musical,
dance, magic and novelty acts, an outrageous Christmas pantomime, characters
from Alice in Wonderland, Punch & Judy puppet shows and of course, Mad Sal's
Dockside Alehouse where patrons can join in singing rowdy favorites or watch the
bold high-kicking gals take to the stage in the wicked can-can! The immensely
popular, roguish production of the “Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Review”
returns for a second year in a row. It truly is a Christmas wonderland!

Sat. Jan. 6 10:30 am Beach Impeach Aerial Photo Protest - SF

On Saturday, January 6, 2007 (just two days after the new US Congress
convenes), 1,200 people will gather for an impeachment event in Nancy Pelosi’s back
yard -- on Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

Early that morning, in 100-foot letters stretching 450 feet across the sand,
volunteers from the Beach Impeach Project will outline the message: I M P E
A C H !

At 10:30 a.m., the 1,200 attendees will arrive and lay their bodies down
inside the message’s lettering. At 11 o’clock a helicopter will arrive overhead
and photographers will record the 1,200 bodies in the sand -- “IMPEACH!” --
with the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

News editors will have compelling photos for the next morning’s Sunday
papers; the nation and world will have convincing evidence of how badly the American
people (even Ms. Pelosi’s own constituency) want their leaders held
accountable for the Iraq disaster; and the impeachment movement will have powerful
visuals to go with the words and chatter swirling in the air for months and months
now.

To participate, please take 60 seconds to register yourself and your friends
at www.volunteerforchange.com

-- go to www.volunteerforchange.org
-- hit "View the event calendar"
-- go down to "Saturday 1/6/07 -- Beach Impeach Project" (we're that day's
only event)
-- follow the signup directions (takes about 60 seconds)

To see photos taken from the helicopter during November 11 "run-through",
and to get a sense of the power of the site and the potential of this project,
please go to: http://homepage.mac.com/bradnewsham/PhotoAlbum2.html
