~ Next Calendar Submission Deadline The deadline to submit calendar events for the next EcoCalendar is Sunday, July 23, at Noon. Please edit your event description down to 600 characters or less, and do not include redundant information that will appear in the other fields, such as cost or contact information. Submit calendar events online at: Acterra EcoCalendar: Submit Your Event.
~ New EcoCalendar Format: For each event, the EcoCalendar now contains dates, titles, and city only. Each entry is a link to that event in Acterra's online calendar. Click on the link to go directly to the full text of that event. If the link does not take you directly to the event, reload the calendar page in your browser.
~ Be the Change Application Deadline Extended to JULY 31st:
Applications are now available for Be the Change, Acterra's year-long course for emerging leaders focused on protecting our regional environment. Learn to be an effective change agent through a series of monthly seminars, other events and designing a community project.
Application deadline is July 31, 2006.
Program starts September 2006. Personal interviews will be held shortly after you submit your application. Be the Change is seeking a diverse class of all ages and backgrounds.
