IlluminArts Walk Free event! Thu Dec 5
5:30 p.m. Meet your tour guide, BRAF Executive Director, Tomas McCabe, at The Language of the Birds, Colombus Ave. and Broadway St., SF
6:15 p.m. The group will walk via Telegraph Hill. As we descend the Filbert Steps, where a perfect vista of the Bay Lights will be before us, we'll hear Illuminate the Arts Executive Producer Amy Critchet share stories of the creation of this unbelievable artistic achievement. 
We'll end our walk at the Exploratorium, where we'll hear artist Peter Hudson speak about his beloved work, Homouroboros.
After that, you'll have the option of joining us at one of the Exploratorium's monthly, adult-only After Dark events. Admission for the event is $15, but if you're wearing an illuminated outfit, and you receive the secret password from Tomas, you'll get a $5 discount!

Save the date for the Ninth Annual Berkeley River Restoration Symposium. Highlights will include:
- Keynote address by Chris Prescott, Watershed Ecologist for the City of Portland's Science, Fish and Wildlife Program, on “Monitoring the Health of Portland's Watersheds”
- Student presentations from independent research projects
- A panel discussion by a group of professionals to comment on the student research projects, and discuss the current and future issues on river restoration
