Emboldened to do even more damage to California families after "defeating" his recall, Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has signed these awful bills in his final week to act on them (a month after being approved by the Democrat-controlled California Legislature):
• AB 101 imposing "ethnic studies/critical race theory" as a graduation requirement in California high schools, teaching non-whites they are "oppressed" and need to overthrow their "oppressors," and teaching children to reject their identity as an American and to become soldiers of the Political Left.
• AB 1084 requiring big box stores and large retailers to create areas with “a gender neutral section with a reasonable selection of items regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.”
• SB 380 making the the 2015 California law promoting suicide as an "answer" even worse by replacing the 15-day waiting period with two undefined "oral requests" 48 hours apart that can be induced by others (including inheriting relatives).
• SB 73 lowering criminal penalties for users and dealers of heroin, opiates or opium derivatives, "salts," cannabis, phencyclidine (PCP), and other dangerous drugs.
This comes on the heels of Newsom last month signing:
• AB 1184 ordering medical providers and insurance companies to not tell parents if their child is getting an abortion, "changing" his or her sex," has a drug abuse problem, has a mental illness, is a victim of domestic violence, or has contracted a sexually-transmitted disease.
• AB 1356 penalizing pro-life Californians for ministering to women seeking abortions and for exposing abortionists who kill innocent preborn babies.
• AB 465 forcing "LGBTQIA+" brainwashing upon professional fiduciaries (trusted persons who handle affairs on someone else’s behalf while they are still alive or after they have died.

In addition, Newsom has signed these bills to radically change life as we know it:
• AB 1346 outlawing the sale of new gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers and chain saws as soon as 2024 more
• AB 367 requiring "poor" government-controlled junior high and high schools to stock free menstrual pads and tampons "in all women’s restrooms and all-gender restrooms, and in at least one men’s restroom" more
• AB 173 giving personal information about California gunowners to California universities to "study" more
