Kushner halts Trump move to new social media after Twitter ban
Kushner told other White House officials including Trump’s director of personnel, John McEntee, that the president’s social media presence should not migrate to the fringe sites
Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner stopped an effort to sign up the president on fringe social media platforms such as Gab and Parler after Twitter suspended his account last week, according to three people familiar with the matter.
Trump’s social media director, Dan Scavino, also objected, two of the people said. The two men thought the alternative social media sites, which have catered to political conservatives by promising fewer restraints on speech, weren’t suitable for the U.S. president partly because they didn’t think they were well managed or could handle the traffic.
Facebook has just blocked Law Enforcement Today - with it's nearly 900,000 members - from posting. All admins blocked from posting to any page and group they are associated with. This is out of control.

Carlson maintained such a coordinated effort violated U.S. antitrust law.
Exclusive: 60% call impeachment a ‘waste of time,’ Big Tech backlash for censoring Trump
Key voters want Speaker Nancy Pelosi to put the brakes on impeaching President Trump again, and they are also calling for the punishment of Big Tech for censoring the president, according to a new polling memo to a top Trump adviser.
Pollster John McLaughlin’s memo to Jason Miller shows that battleground voters are more eager for the nation to move on rather than impeach the president for last week’s violent protest by pro-Trump supporters in the U.S. Capitol.
And if Congress doesn’t move on, adds the two-page memo shown below in full, those who push for impeachment may face a voter backlash in the 2022 midterm elections.
“Voters strongly prefer that Congress deal with fighting coronavirus and not impeachment. Impeachment is viewed as a waste of time and money. Voters believe that the Democrats are playing politics and that continuing to attack the president is making it worse,” wrote McLaughlin.
