This is unsettling. We are told to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem". But, in my opinion, this does not mean to support a nation/state that was artificially made. The bigger problem is two-fold -- the US Congress beholden to two countries, not America alone. And the islamic agenda of taking over other sovereign countries by replacing the indigenous population.
Where Gaza fits into this is unclear to me. Certainly, a genocide of people living in Gaza is not acceptable.
And I reiterate - most people who are descendants of ancient Israel are not Jews. There are hundreds of millions living today, and not in "Israel".
